Even though they said these were big brothers, we always used them as the daddys of our new families. Trucker (4-Speed) was our first one and since Glory was the #1 pony in my herd, she got him all to herself.
It was a while until they came up with some
more big brothers. I thought they never would. The first ones went
really fast, so when these guys came out, we got two of them. Chief
and Barnacle were our two aquisitions in this case. Barnacle became
Glory's new man since he was cooler than Trucker. Glory got Chief
because the two of them were white. Blueberry Basket ended up with
Trucker who was still a nice guy, just not as cool.
Baby Drummer is my only boy baby. Since his body is about the same color as Barnacle's body, we had Glory adopt Drummer, so baby Glory had a brother. I was so excited to have a family of four!
The Ponyland Parade was about to start, but the marching band needed
one more drummer. Baby Drummer wanted very much to play in the
band but the drum was too big for him to carry. Baby Leaper knew
exactly what to do. He clicked his heels while counting "1-2-3"
and…ZAP…the drum became just the right size for Baby drummer!
With the band complete, Baby Drummer proudly marched in front,
tapping a cheerful "RAT-A-TAT-TAT" on his new drum!
